On Scissors and cutting

I found Sophia standing by the art studio, scissors in her hand pointing to her private parts.

"Sophia..", I asked. "Why are you cutting your underwear?"

"String!" She says.

I am very glad that she is independet enough to quietly reach for the scissors to cut off the unraveled string in her underwear, but I sat her down and explained why cutting it while standing and still wearing the underwear is not a good idea.

Then we sat together and cut the string out.
