Anjali has suddenly gotten into a quiet phase. Dont get me wrong, she does talk and make shrewd observations, but now she tends to keep them to herself instead of talking about them, preferring to keep her nose in a book when the opportunity presents itself, wanting quiet time more than rowdy time. She did a lot of climbing and exploring and hugging koala bears in Australia (photos to follow), but she is clearly undergoing a developmental transition. What kind of role does parenting take when your child morphs from a baby to a girl?
