Anjali had a lot of things to say when I designed this
It is a simple recycled jewellery hanging system, mostly to cope with the large and growing number of necklaces and bracelets that the girls have been receiving. Ever since they started reading fancy nancy, they have been going for a lot for accessories too.
Anyway, Anjali's main objection was my cutting up her foam slipper keychain for putting up the press earrings.
The whole thing was built using an old Singapore airlines sock and a kids' shoe box. Later, to add more stability to the thing, husband and I decided to make it a standing solution on the dressing table. That way, the kids could reach it as well, without having all the necklaces falling off.
