Invitation to play: paper, crayons and coins
It is very interesting how children come up with new ways to explore materials. It never occurred to me to do coin matching over the rubbings, when on reflection it is a perfect activity for a 3.5 year old, especially since Sophia loves very much the shadow matching worksheets.
Now, when it is time for the school bus and your child is engrossed in an activity that you have set up (presumably so that they will be engrossed in it, but after they return from school) what do you do?

My kids are not old enough for school yet, but we do an activity most days after nap. Favorites are bead lacing, coloring, block patterns, free art on big rolls of paper. Today we are making chocolate chip cookies! That's ALWAYS a favorite!ReplyDelete
