Today is the first of December. The first activity on my advent calendar was "Make Christmas Cookies"
It was a cheat activity. Anjali wanted to make cookies yesterday, but we returned from the playground at 9.45 and I didnt want her to spend the last few minutes before bed mixing and mashing. So I told her that we would do it in the morning if she woke up.
I didnt think that she would wake up. I usually left for work just after Anjali woke up. i should have known better.
She was up at 7.15 and saying "Amma Cookies Amma Cookies"
So we made oatmeal, banana and date cookies. Now I have to change the advent activity to decorate and tie up advent activity list. Planning for a bunch of stickers or stamps to do this.
