A very fantastic (if I may say so myself) cobbler

I made apple cobbler (yet again) yesterday morning. I was supposed to make nectarine saucy cobbler, but the nectarines werent ripe yet, and thanks to husband's penchant for eating apples, we seem to have tons of them around the house.

So here's the recipe

5 apples (I used a mixture of red and green ones)
4 tbsp flour
3 tbsp sugar
cinnamon (a lot)

Put all this together in a pan coat the apples, cover and cook for a bit till the apples are soft and the flour mixture coats them

In the meantime, mix, 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 3tbsp sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup oil, 1 egg, vanilla

mix and mix until it is nice and smooth in a batter.

Put the apple mixture in a pan and the flour mixture on top. Bake at 180 for half an hour.

It comes out all nice and golden brown and tastes really yummy. the girls like it.

Anjali cut the cobbler at home in the evening for her third happy birthday cake.
