Sophia has learnt the word "Please". Even more, she has learnt that it can open doors.
Yesterday, on the way back from the library, she wanted to sit in mjy lap. Anjali was there, and she tried to push Anjali. It would have caused a nice fight, when i had a brain wave.
"Sophia, say please"
"puleese"
Anjali got off the lap, and Sophia cuddled in. She stayed for a minute and then stood on the taxi seat to play. Anjali got on the lap again.
Sophia finished playing and wanted back in the lap. This time, she didnt bother with the crying. The first word that came out was
"puleese"

And again this morning, when she wnated to be picked up, her communication was to put her hands up and then say "puleese"
