On nationalities and such

Anu arrived this morning from India. A remember a conversation i had with Anjali several days ago

Me: Anu aunty will come in a few days and stay in our house

Anjali: Where is Anu aunty now?

Me: Anu aunty is in India

Anjali: Why Anu aunty is in India?

Me: Because Anu aunty is an Indian

Anjali: No. Anu aunty is not an Indian.

Me: Then what is she?

Anjali: She is a Sanskritian

I guess Anu would be amused by that

On 4th April 2007, Anjali Curic was born, changing our lives forever. From happy, to tearful, to harassed, to jubiliant, our lives have gone through a specrum of emotions, most of which can be attributed to her.

I guess, as parents, we have too much help and not enough to do, so on 18th January 2009, the stork hand delivered Sophia. Centering, sweet, smiling, Sophia is as concentrated as Anjali is diverse, as contemplative as Anjali is energetic, and it is a sure pleasure to watch them both.

We thank God for the blessing of these two wonderful girls. There are times that we do want to pull our hairs apart, but all in all, we have been blessed with them
