Last evening, we took the girls to the library. Sophia thinks that picking books from the shelves and dropping them pell mell on the floor is fun. I think taking the books and putting them back on the shelves is not fun.
Anjali somehow has this interpretation that Sophia and I are playing a fun game where she throws books on the floor and she (Anjali) wants to join in.
The conclusion, books land on the library floor faster than I can replace them on the shelves. We annoyed all the librarians.
I threatened to spank Anjali. no use.
The only thing that worked was when I threatened that we would not borrow the maisy and thomas and dora books, but would leave them in the library if she behaved like that. She stopped pulling books off the shelves
Too bad the threat doesnt work with Sophia.
