Addition and complex math

"Mummy, sit in this chair", says Anjali.

I sit, with Sophia in my lap.

"Daddy should sit here. Patti  should sit there and thattha should sit here" (pointing to respective chairs)

"Where will Sophia sit?"

"Here, on my lap"

"Why she should sit on your lap?"

"because there is no more chair... I will take one chair for Sophia to sit" (and she brought one over)

The interesting thing is that we were in the library. there were no patti and thattha, daddy was in some other part of the library looking for books.

All we had was a table with some chairs around it

5 of them.
