a question of perspective

Two days ago, i was dressing Anjali and she was mumbling something.

"What is that?"

"my fair lady"

Now, the only person I knew who would tell Anjali about my fair lady was husband, and I was quite positive that husband had not yet talked to Anjali about Audrey Hepburn, or shown her the movie.

"Who taught you my fair lady?"

"Teacher"

I was quite glad that she had gotten a teacher who was familiar enough with culture to talk to the children about my fair lady and make them remember it. Such a thing, I knew by experience, was rare in Singapore. But how did she do it?

"What did teacher tell you about my fair lady?"

"That is the London Bridge song."

Oh.
