Defence

A long time ago, when we were still courting, Adi asked me whether I wanted to defend my thesis with a small baby crying in the room. It was supposed to be a kind of joke, but somehow it turned out that I finally did my defence after Anjali was born. She wasnt crying in the room - that would have shocked the professors, but she was crying and talking and giving her opinion all the same at home, when Adi and I were discussing my presentation.

Gosh! That girl knows (dont ask me how) when people are speaking seriously. She doesnt interrupt but looks very intently from one person to another.

And when i finished my rehersal presentation, she had ever so many ahs and ohs to say
